The B2B e-Commerce Product Specialist is a critical role for the e-Commerce team. Dometic launched a B2B e-Commerce platform for the US market in January 2020. This role will help drive demand through conversion, effective product positioning, data analysis and monitoring/optimizing the digital customer shopping experience. This role is responsible for the product discovery experience to ensure that Dometic professional customers are presented with relevant products. Within this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of online merchandising, ensuring that all category products, parts, and accessories across all channels are accurately represented and remain up to date.
Define and refine existing online product assortment in a prioritized methodology
Proactively monitor product assortment to ensure it is up to date, clean and includes new product launches; scrubs out-of-date items, and includes spare parts and accessories
Work with document management team to prioritize items to add to Signifikant (PIM)
Provide initial product PIM content oversight and management (e.g., Specs)
Work closely with product management to ensure ongoing product assortment is viable
Collaborate and work alongside local and global teams, developers, and global e-Commerce team
Develop additional tools to further enhance product pages
Work in both inRiver and Signifikant PIM systems
Identify and explore solutions to fill category white spots/new products
Create up-sell and cross-sell opportunities and optimize product detail page
Analyze data quickly and accurately to identify ways to improve the customer journey and drive overall business growth
Support photography asset creation management (finished goods, parts, 360 viewer, etc.)
Ensure backend sourcing is accurate in our ERP systems (e.g., 365, AS400) through engagement with product management team
Provide reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly using site analytics (Google Analytics), heat mapping and more
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information systems, marketing, business or related field and five years of progressively responsible experience in e-commerce
Insights driven, innovative and deep understanding of a wide variety of audiences (from brands to technical to agencies to media)
Demonstrated knowledge of Wholesale, Retail, e-Commerce, and Finance concepts and business processes
Demonstrated experience with B2B (and/or B2B2C or B2C) e-Commerce website
High energy, enthusiasm, and ability to succeed in a dynamic work environment
Ability to work within a diverse team environment with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines for key corporate initiatives
Must work well under pressure and with the ability to adjust course as needs arise
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
Proficiency and aptitude with Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with Salesforce, Sitecore CMS, inRiver and Signifikant PIMs preferred
Experience using web analytics (Google Analytics) and optimization tools
