We are currently seeking an experienced ECommerce Business Analyst to join our IT team in Lisle, IL. This position will report to the Director of Web Applications
The ECommerce Business Analyst will be responsible for a variety of duties, including:
• Work closely with the E-Commerce team (business), ERP programmers, and the 3rd party web designers to prioritize and complete systems analysis efforts for the ECommerce solution.
• Gather requirements and develop functional designs.
• Define and execute test cases.
• Be a problem solver. Identify, investigate, and/or confirm reported issues. Determine the source of the issue and coordinate its resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in IT or similar business area, or combination of education and demonstrated work experience.
• SAP experience is required
• Metal industry experience is a plus, but experience in the manufacturing business is required (at least two years)
• Hands-on experience with a B2B eCommerce system is a plus.
• The candidate needs to be a quick learner and self-starter.
• Able to bridge the gap between the business unit and IT.
• Detail oriented with an analytical aptitude.
• Effectively use the Microsoft Office, JIRA and Confluence for project artifacts.
